BRIDAL VEIL FALLS

RATING - 9/10

TYPE OF APPROACH - Roadside or Trail

DIFFICULTY - Very Easy or Medium

LOCATION - Index Area

TYPE - Horsetail

HEIGHT - 1328'

WIDTH - 75'

Bridal Veil Falls is a massive waterfall dropping over 1000' from Lake Serene on its way to the Skykomish River.  Even from across the valley, the size and power of the falls are very obvious.  I can only imagine how impressive they are close-up, but plan on making the hike sometime soon.
DIRECTIONS - Bridal Veil Falls can be seen from Highway 2 around the town of Index.  The best view of the falls is from around the area where the movie Harry And The Hendersons was filmed (complete with Bigfoot Crossing sign).  The falls can also be seen from very close-up on the Lake Serene Trail but I have yet to do that.

NEARBY WATERFALLS - Eagle Falls, Klinger Grotto Falls, Sunset Falls
