CASCADE CREST FALLS

RATING - 2/10

TYPE OF APPROACH - Roadside

DIFFICULTY - Very Easy

LOCATION - Washington Pass Area

TYPE - Tiered

HEIGHT - 40'

WIDTH - 10'

This pretty little falls runs right next to Highway 20 on its way from Newhalem to Winthrop.  There is a turnout located .3 miles east of the Canyon Creek Trailhead where you can park to see the falls.  My picture here isn't a real good one.  The falls aren't real big, but they are very nice.  Especially considering how easy they are to get to, this is one that shouldn't be missed if you're heading over the pass.   Next time I drove over the pass I'll take the time to stop and get a better picture of this pretty creek.
DIRECTIONS - Head east on HWY 20 past Newhalem.  Park at the turnout about a quarter mile past the Canyon Creek Trailhead and cross the highway to see the falls.

NEARBY WATERFALLS - Emerald Pool Falls, John Pierce Falls, Lillian Creek Falls, Sattler Falls
