Cascade Falls is located in Moran State Park where Cascade Creek drops down from Mountain Lake to the Puget Sound. Along the route, the creek drops over no fewer than 5 waterfalls. Visitors can walk right up to Cascade Falls and even take a shower in it should the need arise. Below is the falls at a typical flow, but occasionally the creek will get running really high and the falls as they down to the right. |
| DIRECTIONS - Take
the ferry to Orcas Island. Upon disembarking, turn left and drive along the road for
around 25 minutes until you enter Moran State Park. After passing Cascade Lake, take
the left fork in the road and drive for about 1/2 mile to the trailhead for this and 4
