Feature Show Falls is a great little hike for small kids. It's about a mile with very little elevation gain. Once at the falls, there's even a little bench to sit on. My dad joined us for this hike after his knee surgery and didn't have too much trouble getting there. To the right is a shot of the top of the falls from the side. There is another small, seasonal waterfall (Preshow Falls) just downstream from Feature Show Falls as well as Boulder Falls downstream on the Boulder River. The falls are one of the most popular in the Puget Sound region and are a perfect example of a segmented waterfall. Take a few hours and enjoy a gorgeous hike to see Feature Show Falls. You won't regret it. |
| DIRECTIONS - Drive
east of Arlington on HWY 530 for 19 miles to French Creek Road. Follow the pothole
filled road for about 4 miles to the trailhead. The falls are an easy 1.25 miles
along the trail. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Boulder Falls, Half Mile Falls, Preshow Falls, Wheeler Falls |
