||
| RATING - 2/10 TYPE OF APPROACH - Trail DIFFICULTY - Fairly Easy LOCATION - Perry Creek Trail TYPE - Horsetail HEIGHT - 250' WIDTH - 10' |
Flatrock Falls is a seasonal waterfall located along the Perry Creek Trail. An unnamed creek drops about 250' down an remarkably flat rockface on the northwest side of Mt. Dickerman (hence the name Flatrock Falls). On my hike, the falls were almost completely dry so I'll have to wait until next Spring to get a good picture. | |
| DIRECTIONS - Follow
the directions to Pitchfork Falls. A little over a
mile along the trail, Flatrock Falls can be seen on the southeast side of the valley
dropping off the side of Mt. Dickerman. It's a little tough to spot but there is one
spot in particular where the falls can be seen fairly clearly. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Perry Creek Falls, Pitchfork Falls, North Dickerman Falls |
