GRANITE FALLS |
|
| RATING - 5/10 TYPE OF APPROACH - Trail DIFFICULTY - Very Easy LOCATION - Granite Falls Area TYPE - Tiered HEIGHT - 40' WIDTH - 30' |
Granite Falls is a
very impressive waterfall where the South Fork of the Stilly cuts its way through an
amazing gorge. There is a fish ladder running along the side of the falls so the
falls could be even better if half the water wasn't being diverted.
|
| DIRECTIONS - Drive East along the Mountain Loop Highway from the town of Granite Falls. Just after leaving town, park at the signed turnout for the "Granite Falls Fish Ladder" and walk down the short trail to view the falls. | |
