LILLIAN CREEK FALLS |
||
| RATING - 2/10 TYPE OF APPROACH - Roadside DIFFICULTY - Very Easy LOCATION - Ross Lake Area TYPE - Horsetail HEIGHT - 25' WIDTH - 5' |
Almost every creek that runs along Highway 20 heading east from Newhalem has a waterfall on them. Lillian Creek is no exception, dropping over a pretty 25' tall horsetail that can be seen from the bridge over the creek. There is supposed to be a larger waterfall named Ruby Falls somewhere further upstream. |
|
| DIRECTIONS - Drive
up Highway 20 towards Rainy Pass. The falls are around 14 miles east of Newhalem and
can be viewed from the bridge over the creek (which is signed). NEARBY WATERFALLS - Cascade Crest Falls, Emerald Pool Falls, John Pierce Falls, Sattler Falls |
