||
| RATING - 4/10 TYPE OF APPROACH - Trail DIFFICULTY - Medium LOCATION - Taylor River Area TYPE - Tiered HEIGHT - 100' WIDTH - 10' |
|
Marten Creek is the first major creek crossed on the Taylor River Trail. The final tier of the falls is easy enough to see. Upper sections are possible to view with enough work. |
| DIRECTIONS - Drive
east on I-90 and turn off at exit 34 (Edgewick Road). Turn left and drive north for
about half a mile, turning right onto FR 57 (Middle Fork Road). Head down the road
for around 12 miles to the end of the road, avoiding the turn towards the Middle Fork
Trailhead along the way. Head down the trail for 2.2 miles to where it crosses
Marten Creek. The falls are just upstream and can be seen by working your way
through the woods to the left of the creek. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Big Creek Falls, Lower Taylor Falls, Otter Falls |
