The North Fork of Coal
Creek drops over this absolutely stunning little waterfall surrounded by a bright orange
rock wall. When we visited the falls it was running at high volume and the snow was
falling. In lower water the falls loses its fan shape and becomes an even prettier
falls. There are several other small waterfalls in the park that we didn't have time to visit on our trip. |
| DIRECTIONS - Head east on I-90, take exit #13, and turn right towards Newcastle. Park at the Red Town Trailhead on the left side of the road in 3 miles. The trail is across the road and the falls are around 1/4 mile down the trail. | ||
