PERRY CREEK FALLS |
||
| RATING - 6/10 TYPE OF APPROACH - Trail DIFFICULTY - Medium LOCATION - Perry Creek Trail TYPE - Tiered HEIGHT - 65' WIDTH - 15' |
Perry Creek drops over a gorgeous 40' tall fan shaped drop which is followed up shortly downstream by a 25' plunge into a narrow gorge. The entire area is surrounded by ferns, moss, and some big trees, creating a very scenic waterfall. The water level was fairly low on my visit but the falls were still amazing. I plan on returning next Spring when the creek is running higher. | |
| DIRECTIONS - Follow
the directions to Pitchfork Falls. Perry Creek
Trail passes right next to the top of the falls at about the 2 mile mark. To get a
clear view, cross Perry Creek and climb down the opposite bank to clear views near the
base of the falls. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Flatrock Falls, North Dickerman Falls, Pitchfork Falls |
