   RACHOR FALLS

RATING - 9/10

TYPE OF APPROACH - Bushwhack

DIFFICULTY - Very Difficult

LOCATION - Snoqualmie Tree Farm

TYPE - Tiered

HEIGHT - 300'

WIDTH - 15'

Rachor Creek is one waterfall after the other as it drops hundreds of feet down the Moon Wall.  It's hard to definitely split up the creek into separate names so I've done my best.  What I count as "Rachor Falls" is the 200' tall main drop (left), the 10' drop above this, and the 46' plunge just above that (below at high and normal water levels).   The main drop is an amazing waterfall in its own right, dropping 200' in a sheer plunge.  I'm one of the few people to have photographed this falls from the front, but I figure that may change in the near future.  I'm very excited to see this drop at high water level as I imagine it's even more impressive than it already is.  It's a shame that this falls can't be opened up for more people to enjoy.
DIRECTIONS - Follow the directions to Old Spur Falls.  Rachor Falls is just downstream from here but viewing it will require a lot of work.  First you have to find away across Rachor Creek.  If the water level isn't too high this can be easily accomplished by heading downhill a short distance and crossing below the 10' slide that constitutes the bottom tier of Old Spur Falls and above the 46' plunge that begins Rachor Falls.  I wouldn't recommend this crossing in high water though.   Once across, just start heading downstream.  Eventually you'll see the main drop.  If you look hard enough, you might find a rope I left tied to a tree that leads down to a nice clear view of the falls.
