SULPHUR CREEK FALLS

RATING - 4/10

TYPE OF APPROACH - Bushwhack

DIFFICULTY - Fairly Easy

LOCATION - Baker Lake Area

TYPE - Tiered

HEIGHT - 50'

WIDTH - 15'

Sulphur Creek is one of the most beautiful creeks in the Mt. Baker area.  The entire creek is lined with amazing moss covered rocks along its entire stretch.  In addition to the mossy rocks, the creek contains at least three recognizable waterfalls, this one being the best of the three.  Sulphur Creek splits around a large boulder and plunges about 15' into a nice deep pool before dropping immediately another 6' in a gorgeous block shaped falls.  Just downstream the creek slides another 10' into yet another pool.  Below this the creek runs through a deeper part of the canyon and over more cascades.  I haven't been able to get a good look at this section of the creek yet.

DIRECTIONS - Follow the directions to Upper Sulphur Creek Falls.  This waterfall is located about 500' downstream from there.

NEARBY WATERFALLS - Lower Sulphur Creek Falls, Upper Sulphur Creek Falls
