TEEPEE FALLS

RATING - 4/10

TYPE OF APPROACH - Bushwhack

DIFFICULTY - Medium

LOCATION - Suiattle River Road

TYPE - Tiered

HEIGHT - 60'

WIDTH - 15'

As the Suiattle River Road goes along, it passes a bridge over the appropriately named Big Creek.  If you get out and look down, you can see the creek tearing through a huge gorge about 100 feet below the bridge.  Along the way it drops over several small drops, culminating in a 10' tall drop into a crystal clear, blue-green pool that may very well be the most photogenic waterfall in northwest Washington.

DIRECTIONS - Drive south of Rockport on HWY 530 and turn onto Suiattle River Road #26.  After around 10 miles, the road will cross over Big Creek on a big bridge you can't miss.  Park your car and look straight down.  (Not for those with a fear of heights.)  To see the gorgeous bottom tier, just head downhill off the road on the west side of the bridge (there is a trail of sorts) for about 100 vertical feet.
