Twin Falls is really two separate waterfalls. The creek the falls are on splits into two upstream and then each of the two go over very different types of waterfalls before rejoining below the falls. The falls are only about 100' apart but can't be seen together thanks to a big chunk of trees between them. The left half of the falls is basically a two-tiered drop around 175' tall with a few smaller drops below. The right half is a long, S-shaped falls around 150' tall with a couple smaller tiers below including the 20' lower tier that must be climbed over to reach the top. There is apparently more to the falls above these two drops before the creek splits but viewing that would be very difficult.

| DIRECTIONS - Head
East on the Mt. Baker Highway to the town of Glacier. Just past the town turn right
onto Glacier Creek Road. After a few miles the road crosses over Glacier Creek and
begins to climb up hill. You will cross over the same small creek three times.
Park at the third crossing and head upstream a little ways to the falls. The right
half is a little harder to get to as you must climb up a lower falls to reach it.
When I was there the creek was at very low volume so this one could get a higher rating if
I see it again with more water. NEARBY WATERFALLS - Kulshan Falls, Rock Gnome Falls, Roosevelt Falls |
